Improving Your Forest is a daylong
class that teaches landowners the crop tree management
process. Landowners are guided through the steps of defining
goals, selecting trees with the potential to meet those
goals and providing space for trees to thrive and provide
the desired benefits. The first portion of this class
is spent indoors getting better acquainted with the concept
of crop tree management. The afternoon session is spent
in the woods selecting crop trees and determining what
is needed in order to provide them with the space they
need to thrive.
